Le tout récemment immatriculé N9767 débute ainsi une nouvelle aventure avec son nouveau propriétaire, "C.A.T.". AirVenture, a effectué la dernière phase de maintenance et de préparation pour l’obtention de la certification américaine. Un plan de vol a été dressé pour faire voler l’appareil d’Orly jusqu’à sa nouvelle base, Melun-Villaroche, et le 22 décembre, Princesse des étoiles a décollé.
Mais avant cela, une maintenance en règle a été effectuée, grâce aux mécaniciens. Après l’arrivée de l’appareil à Orly, ceux-ci ont remplacé un des moteurs Pratt & Whitney, ils ont également installé deux nouvelles hélices, une nouvelle avionique, ils ont révisé l’hydraulique, les systèmes de commande des gouvernes, et quantité d’autres choses. A peu près tout les éléments et pièces constituant l’appareil ont été contrôlés et remplacés lorsque cela s’est avéré nécessaire. Les mécaniciens ont réalisé un travail splendide.
L’association Angel One-Five (AOF) aidera l’appareil à opérer, il va sans dire que tout le monde attend le printemps lorsque la saison des meetings va démarrer !
Nous serons extrèmement fiers de montrer N9767 en vol aux passionnés. C’est le commencement d’une nouvelle aventure !

Newly registered N9767 when a new adventure began with its new owner, "C.A.T." . AirVenture Ltd did the last phase of maintenance and preparation to get the US certification. Plans were made to fly N9767 from Orly to its new base, Melun-Villaroche, and then on December the 22th, the Princess took off…
Before there has been extensive maintenance, thanks to the mechanics. After the aircraft’s arrival at Orly, they gave N9767 a new engine, new propellers, new avionics system, overhaul hydraulics, cables, and a lot more. Almost all of N9767 parts have been checked & replaced when necessary. The outcome was a testimony to the mechanics work.
Operating will be done with help from the association Angel One-Five (AOF) and everybody’s waiting for springtime, when the airshows season will start.
